General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

1. Tedicad GmbH guarantees the diligent execution of the work performed, as well as the faultless operation of the modified control unit and the components installed by the company. It provides a two-year warranty on the EPROMs used, the soldering work, and the software.

The customer bears full responsibility for the work requested by them. Consequently, all further claims—particularly regarding consequential damage to the control unit, engine, drivetrain components, transmission, etc., as well as the associated removal and installation costs—are expressly excluded.

Warranty claims under paragraph 1 shall be fulfilled by means of free replacement or free repair, carried out by Tedicad GmbH.

The warranty shall be void in the event of third-party intervention in the engine management system, or any other manipulation of the control unit or other vehicle components.

2. The customer acknowledges that the work performed by Tedicad GmbH may lead to the voiding of the manufacturer’s warranty and other warranty claims. The customer bears full responsibility for this consequence.

3. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the work performed by Tedicad GmbH (resulting in a power increase of up to 20%) is eligible for road approval in Switzerland. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to report such modifications to the competent vehicle registration authority and to present the vehicle for inspection at their own expense.

Power increases of more than 20% relative to the official rated power are expressly carried out solely at the customer’s own risk and are intended exclusively for export or racing purposes.

Pursuant to Art. 34 Para. 2 of the VTS (Ordinance on Technical Requirements for Road Vehicles), modified vehicles must undergo a re-inspection prior to continued use.

4. All contractual and/or non-contractual claims submitted by the customer against Tedicad GmbH—insofar as these exceed the scope of the warranty set out in clause 2—are, to the extent permitted by law, completely and entirely excluded. The customer undertakes to disclose the work performed by Tedicad GmbH in the event of a subsequent resale of the vehicle. 5. All technical data and general information provided by Tedicad GmbH—whether online, in brochures, etc.—do not constitute guaranteed or warranted characteristics, but serve exclusively as reference values that may vary depending on mileage, fuel type, and environmental conditions. Technical changes are reserved.
